Minutes of the Special Budget Review Meeting
Held April 14th, 2015
Call to order: Township Supervisor, Mark Devers called the Special Budget Review meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Members Present: Supervisor- Mark Devers, Clerk- Cynthia Paavola, Treasurer- Jennifer Wieczorkowski and Trustee- Lynn Morrison. Member Absent; Trustee – P. Hart.
Audience: No guests.
Approval of Agenda J. Wieczorkowski made a motion to approve the agenda as written. Seconded by; L. Morrison. All ayes; motion carried.
Comments from Audience: No comments.
Review Proposed (2015/2016) Budget: The board members went through the entire budget and made adjustments to the
Governing Body: FICA- $5,000.00 to $7,000.00, MESC- $700.00 to $1,900.00, Bank Fees- $200.00 to $350.00.
Building and Grounds: Maintenance and Repairs- $10,500.00 to $5,000.00, Maintenance Supplies- $10,500.00 to $5,000.00.
Park & Rec. Committee: Line item added- Contracted Services- $7,000.00.
Transfer to Other Funds: Capital Improvement Fund - $4,008.00 to $4,000.00.
Presque Isle FD #2 (Line Items Added): Contracted Services- $90,000.00, Maintenance & Repair - $5,000.00, Maintenance Supplies - $5,000.00, Licenses - $500.00.
Recreational/Long Range Fund (Park & Rec. Committee): Repairs - $19,562.00 to $19,500.00.
The Township Board will meet again on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 6:00 pm to approve the budget.
Adjournment: With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 pm.
